Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter, an orphan living with his cruel aunt and uncle, discovers on his eleventh birthday that he is a wizard. Hagrid, a giant and keeper of keys at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, informs Harry of his magical heritage and takes him to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies. Harry learns about his parents' murder by the dark wizard Voldemort and his own miraculous survival.
At Hogwarts, Harry makes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and enemies with Draco Malfoy. He is sorted into Gryffindor House and quickly becomes known for his flying skills, earning a spot on the Quidditch team. Harry, Ron, and Hermione uncover the mystery of the Sorcerer's Stone, a magical object that grants immortality, hidden within the school.
The trio discovers that Voldemort, weakened but still dangerous, is trying to steal the Stone to regain his power. In a thrilling climax, Harry confronts Voldemort and prevents him from obtaining the Stone, which is then destroyed by Dumbledore to ensure it cannot be misused
