I'VE GOT YOUR BACK: Wandering Wheels, 50 Years of Cycling Adventures!

Bob Davenport reports back some of the wonderful “God-Winks” that have happen in 55 years of Christian Adventure Cycling at Wandering Wheels.
 
Taking an idea from the drawing board to actuality requires a lot of faith, often blind faith.  The idea of riding a bicycle 3,000 miles coast to coast "solo" is daunting, but compounding the challenge by inviting 40 other people to join in the ride is many times more challenging!  The variables make for experiencing the realities of faith.
 
Wandering Wheels started in the summer of 1964 with a 1,000 mile bike tour involving 15 teenage boys.  The three-week journey paralled the Mississippi River from its headwaters to Cairo, Illinois, 1,000 miles.  "I'll never do that again!" I thought.  The life-changing three-week trip created such interest that, since the Mississippi River trip, Wheels has completed 60 coast-to-coast tours involving over 3,000 riders!
